  I went to metro at 1 pm to buy a flower bouquet for my sons engagement. The flower receptionist was very rude and she refused to help me. But there was another one that offered to help us, but the other rude lady came back and told her to go on break right away. The nice lady said sorry and she couldn't do anything about it. Then the rude lady made a really bad Flower bouquet and i had to pay 100$ for it.

  Been going here most my life and have rarely had a bad experience. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough staff so to get help can be a tad difficult but I usually just ask a manager or cashier and they seem to be quite helpful.

  I went to Metro (store #100109) to purchase flowers for my mother. It was on a Saturday, a bit chilly but beautiful because the sun was shinning. I was in the best mood until I went here. I was the only person in the floral department besides the representative. I chose two separate sets of flowers for my mom to brighten her day as she is recovering from having a stroke. When I was ready I asked the representative if I could pay, I was only buying flowers after all. She told me to go to the front registers because she was closed there, so I did without question. After paying at the front I asked the cashier if I could get them wrapped, she said of course there should be someone in the floral department to help. When I went back there I noticed the same lady "representative" I asked to cash out with helping another lady and her husband, wrapping her arrangement, talking and laughing. I waited about 5-7 minutes until they were done and asked for my arrangements to be wrapped. Not only did she say no she felt the need to yell that her shift was over and that she was not even suppose to be there. I mentioned she had helped the couple and I had just been there less than 5 minutes prior. Feeling so disrespected and seeing she never had the intention to help me from the beginning, I went straight to the managers office and explained to him what had happened. I couldn't believe it!! I was so angry as we walked over to the floral department together. The manager asked his employee what happened and she said "my shift is over and I'm not even suppose to be here" ranting about them being short staff and the person who was suppose to be there in her place..blah blah. Right in front of me, this had nothing to do with me. He said to her "I'm sorry for the inconvenience and we'll compensate you for the overtime but we have to take care of the customer." NO APOLOGIES FROM EITHER of them as my entire day went sour and she did the worst job wrapping the flowers. I have NEVER been so angry walking out of a grocery store, I threw the flowers in the garbage because I wasn't about to hand over bad vibes to my mother. I have not and will never again return to another Metro for as long as I live.
