  This place is an unappreciated gem, probably because it's out of the way, and somewhat harder to find/get to. But it's worth the trip! Nicely maintained trails that interweave between waterfront views, wildlife sanctuary, and provincial park. For those intrepid explorers, adventure off the marked paths to find your way out along Lake Ontario, and eventually into Darlington Provincial Park... And finally back around to the free parking near the GM Offices. Garbage bins, picnic tables, benches... And NO ENTRANCE FEE! when was the last time you read that??

  Fun place to go to kill an hour or two in nature near the city. Some of the pathways have been closed off due to falling branches from the trees. Quite a few nice viewpoints of the marshland.
